– Setting exemplary standards for local leadership and service through active, constructive projects.
– Encouraging camaraderie and growth among our members.
– Demonstrating social responsibility in our community.
To create positive change within our organization and communities by providing young people with an organization of shared values through personal and professional development, social and cultural diversity, networking, and community improvement.
Our chapter is full of bright, vibrant, young professionals creating positive change and having fun doing it! The Central Woodward Junior Chamber represents many career paths and its members live in Royal Oak, Clawson, Ferndale, Madison Heights and the surrounding communities. Our chapter is well balanced among social events, community projects, individual development, management projects and international opportunities.
Royal Oak had a chapter that disbanded about 15 years ago. Laura Broski started forming the chapter in late spring of 2003.
The Central Woodward Junior Chamber is officially charted under the legal name of the Royal Oak Jaycees in July of 2003 with 20 members – the charter members.
